Hardware-in-the-Loop test

Test complex systems in real time – without expensive physical tests.

At Sekanina we carry out Hardware-in-the-Loop test with LabVIEW, which is often the natural choice for HIL systems. We have extensive experience developing LabVIEW HIL test systems – and can help your company too.

What is Hardware-in-the-Loop test?

Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) is a test method for testing complex integrated systems in real time. The unit under test – for example a controller – is connected to a test system that simulates the finished product. The system "tricks" the controller into believing it is sitting inside the complete, finished product, so test and design can be iterated on a realistic system.

This way you can run thousands of possible scenarios – without the cost and time that equivalent physical tests would require.

What we can help with

Delivery of ready-to-use HIL systems
Design and implementation of control and measurement systems with LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA
Review of existing code with optimisation suggestions
Technical sparring with your own LabVIEW developers
